2009 Children's Sabbath Materials

Once again iCAN is teaming up with the Children's Defense Fund to promote the observance of Children's Sabbath. The event's focus on the issue of poverty is particularly timely for Minnesota's children's advocates and congregations because of the continuing work of the Legislative Commission to End Poverty in Minnesota by 2020.  iCAN encourages Key Advocates and Children's Sabbath organizers to use this event to raise awareness about the Poverty Commission and help build support for the recommendations for ending poverty.  iCAN and JRLC can help congregations do that with the resources provided with the Children's Sabbath manual (listed below).
